Personal Settings
As a user, you can always choose to receive email-notifications for new uploads. In the web version of COPRA, please navigate to USER SETUP. Click on your user name (you might have to use the FILTER option first to display it). Now you can decide which type of content you want to receive notifications for:
Project Settings
When you're a supervisor on a COPRA project, you can furthermore control notification settings. Again, in the web version of COPRA, please navigate to the main page with your project(s) overview. Hover over your project's title and choose "edit project", then EDIT TEMPLATES (near the bottom):
On this page you can enable / disable and customize various messages that COPRA sends out:
While most of the entries should be self-explanatory, here's an overview o f the notification settings regarding new uploads:
- Reel creation
Notifications are sent out when a reel is created. Default setting: off.
Please beware: as you might still be in the process of uploading, if a user follows the link from that notification, an empty reel might be presented to them.
Our tip: leave this setting turned off and use the "Reel update" function - Reel deletion
Notifications are sent out when a reel is deleted. Default setting: off. - Reel update
Notifications are sent out when a reel is updated. Default setting: on.
After each successful upload process a notification is triggered. This could be one clip - or several hundreds.
Our tip: if you have multiple uploads during the shooting day and want to double-check every reel before releasing it, you can create a new "Check" task (which only you have access to) and upload into that task / reel. Once you're happy with it, hover over the reel and choose "copy reel" to copy the reel into your "Dailies" task.
